Pages only allows you to switch off Word Wrap, and then position the image over the table.ġ0. Polaris Office allows you to insert an image into a table. The page layout features in Polaris are great. Polaris Office allows you to edit image brightness and contrast which is great, but does not have a mask feature like Pages.Ĩ. Polaris Office does not support transparent shapes which is a pity, as this is very effective in Pages.ħ. ![]() Polaris Office has a lot more Shapes and they look like Microsoft Word smartshape icons.Ħ. Polaris Office allows you to zoom out to see the document outline.ĥ. I dislike Pages forcing you to view the entire page all the time. The Polaris interface is clean and easy to use. You can change the border cell colour which is not possible with Pages.Ĥ. Inserting a new table feels more like Word. Polaris file Managment is far superior to Pages with links to Google Docs, Dropbox and WebDAV.ģ. Polaris Office displayed my Word Documents perfectly unlike Pages which changes the layout and fonts.Ģ. Yesterday I bought Polaris Office and was very impressed with the Word Processor.ġ. 'Yes,' said Alice, 'we learned French and music.' 'With extras?' asked the Mock Turtle a little anxiously. 'I've been to a day-school, too,' said Alice 'you needn't be so proud as all that.' 'We had the best of educations-in fact, we went to school every day-' 'Hold your tongue!' added the Gryphon, before Alice could speak again. 'I never said I didn't!' interrupted Alice. 'Yes, we went to school in the sea, though you mayn't believe it-' At last the Gryphon said to the Mock Turtle, 'Drive on, old fellow! Don't be all day about it!' and he went on in these words: 'You ought to be ashamed of yourself for asking such a simple question,' added the Gryphon and then they both sat silent and looked at poor Alice, who felt ready to sink into the earth. 'We called him Tortoise because he taught us,' said the Mock Turtle angrily: 'really you are very dull!' 'Why did you call him Tortoise, if he wasn't one?' Otherwise one needs to take the slate (believe it or not, that is what we had in the pre-school) too into account.
